Crime is a big problem in our society, every day increases the number of crimes in our society. The insecurity is the main problem that should improve the government and currently there are no good strategies for reducing this social problem, lack of education, culture, class and many other social problems like drug addiction, alcoholism, make our society a big problem that leads to criminal actions contrary to the law.
Often the victims of criminal actions or convictions demand severe punishment for those engaged in these activities and forget the state model we have and that is based on this that criminal law must always act in defense of human rights.
In conclusion I personally do not consider it appropriate to speak of more severe punishment, because if we live in a "rule of law” should not lose their sense of logic. For me the solution must be provided by the State through social tools that provide adequate social support and education values that provide more jobs, to create more social aid institutions. To improve public safeties believe the state should strengthen the public forces and create social agencies and community organization.
